How To Enable Javascript

Netscape (All Versions)

Netscape 8 for PC

  1. From the Tools menu, select Options.
  2. Under Security and Privacy click on Site Controls.
  3. Under Web Features on the right make sure the check box next to Enable JavaScript is checked.
  4. Click the OK button.

Netscape 7 for PC

  1. From the Edit menu, select Preferences.
  2. Click on Advanced, then open Scripts and Windows.
  3. Under Enable JavaScript for click the checkbox next to Navigator.
  4. Click the OK button.

Netscape 6 for PC

  1. From the Edit menu, select Preferences.
  2. Click on Advanced.
  3. Click in the checkbox next to Enable JavaScript for Navigator.
  4. Click the OK button.

Netscape 7 for Macintosh

  1. From the Netscape menu, select Preferences.
  2. Expand the Advanced option.
  3. Select Scripts & Plugins.
  4. Under Enable JavaScript for check the checkbox next to Navigator.
  5. Click the OK button.

  1. From the Tools menu, select Options.
  2. Click on the Content button in the top menu.
  3. Check the checkbox for Enable Javascript.
  4. Click the OK button.

  1. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
  2. Select the Security tab, and then select the Custom Level button.
  3. Scroll down until you see Active Scripting.
  4. Make sure the Enable radio button under Active Scripting is selected.
  5. Click the OK button.
  6. Close and restart Internet Explorer.

  1. In the toolbar, click on the gear icon on the far right.
  2. In the drop-down menu, click on Preferences.
  3. Click on Security in the top row of the new window.
  4. Check the checkbox for Enable JavaScript.
  5. Click on the X in the upper right corner to close the window.

  3. Under the Under the Hood tab, click on the "Content settings" button.
  4. Under JavaScript, ensure "Allow all sites to run JavaScript" is selected.
  5. Click the OK button.
